Tamro and Adxto start future-oriented cooperation

The healthcare sector is undergoing a change that is driven by several factors. For example, the average lifetime is getting ever longer, which requires new ways of thinking to ensure that we can maintain the quality of care without costs spiralling. New purchasing patterns, both privately and professionally, where almost anything imaginable is only a click away, also make us more open to digital solutions. Who would have thought just a few years ago that we would accept the advice of doctors and nurses via our mobiles?

New purchasing patterns, both privately and professionally, where almost anything imaginable is only a click away, also make us more open to digital solutions. Tamro and Adxto are united by their determination and desire to think innovatively. Therefore, the companies have now chosen to initiate a collaboration in the field of service development as a response to current and prospective needs in the market. The companies’ shared ambition is to take a holistic approach that includes both pharmaceutical companies and pharmacies, as well as County Councils and patients.

“Tamro is now taking another step towards playing a bigger role in the healthcare market,” says Lars Schenatz, Managing Director of Tamro. “Our partnership with Adxto will open up new opportunities to create even more services that generate added value for our customers. Together we can help customers to improve their offerings on the market while, at the same time, strengthening their position.”

It is a matter of linking Tamro’s knowledge and efficiency in logistics with the smart care solutions of Adxto. A number of new services are set for launch in 2018.

Tamro and Adxto are both based in Sweden, but can also adapt their offer to include Denmark, Norway and Finland.

“Through the cooperation with Tamro we are one step closer to truly living according to the vision we have had since we started in 2007 – to contribute to smarter care.  With the patient in the centre and a broad service offering in healthcare, e-health and the various competencies of our consultants, we hope that our collaboration with Tamro will have a positive imprint in the Swedish healthcare system,” says Helena Östregård, CEO of Adxto Care.
